Spanish American Citizens Club
Founded a century ago, the Spanish American Citizens Club remains the oldest Spanish cultural association in New Jersey. With a membership that is constantly growing, the club continues to organize cultural and social events that bring together the Spanish community of Bayonne.

A second star is added
The Spanish American Citizens Club logo draws inspiration from Spain's rich cultural heritage and the club's distinctive architecture. The club's iconic windows are reimagined to form a crown—an enduring symbol of Spain's history and identity. Above the crown, a second star was added in the summer of 2026 to represent Spain's World Cup win to make two FIFA World Cup championships, honoring the deep connection to fútbol that has long been a part of the club's culture.
Together, these elements create a unique, modern mark that reflects both pride and tradition. The typography is set in a classic serif typeface, reinforcing the club's timeless character while celebrating its enduring legacy.

Celebrating 100 Years
In 2026, the Spanish American Citizens Club celebrated it's 100th year. A flag raising event was held at Bayonne's City Hall, followed by a celebration at the club. Events and gatherings were celebrated all year long to commemorate this huge milestone - with tons of Sangria.
